Everyone knows me as Chw or Chwdog, and I live in East Atlanta, GA. I am a
telecommunications manager/event organizer/flame effects artist/instigator/promoter/consultant/project
manager/web designer/ring leader.... I have professional experience in Electrical,
Telecommunications, Computer Support, Network Support, Event Management/Consulting,
Web Design, Project Management, Heavy Machine Operator and Caregiver. I wear
many hats is the best way to put it. I have always been a community builder.

Man project that will be four sculptures in with the C.O.R.E. 2011 project.
I started out as a promoter and started Chwdog Productions back in 02 and managed
and promoted a few local bands in GA. I then started down my event management
path shortly after, starting out with small venues and ending up one of the
founding members of TransformUs
- The SouthEast Regional Burning Man Event. I was president of Tfus until 06.
During that time some friends and myself started/founded Dirty
Southern Burners - a theme camp/social group of like minded folks, just
doin what we do best..... snicker snicker..... I started the Atlanta SantaCon
in 05 & had about 15-20 others ( we recruited more thru our route and doubled
each year of hosting it) and this past year in 2010 we had around 350-400 santa's,
naughty santa's, reindeer, elves, ect... you get the point. We started Bunnycon
and Lepricon 2 years ago, but they somewhat faded (atleast in Atlanta, Greensboro,
NC is still going strong), but Bunnycon came back this year, and did good w/
only about 20 there! I organize meet and greets here in Atlanta for the burn
community and have since 04. We usually take the summer off due to festival
season, but around the holidays we try to do more together. I do throw the 'Cons
in as meet and greets and usually use the Dirty Southern Burners tag on most
of what I do and we have had a few gatherings like a family reunion that was
a nice 80+ person event in the mtns of NC. I learned to spin fire staff so I
could light the effigy at TransformUs 06 in honor of serving on the BOD and
helping build the LLC and BOD. I can spin staff & breath fire. One of my
latest projects is a sandrail buggy I am getting running and planning on adding
some flame effects to so I can have mobile flame art!!
I spent the summer of 2008 in Asheville, NC and the majority of 2006 in Chattanooga, TN. I grew up in Mountian Park, GA and have lived everywhere from
Downtown Atlanta to Dahlonega. Im sure that is a pretty good taste of what I have been up to, my "real" job
currently for the last few years has been in the telecommunications/tower
industry - building and pathing the Clear 4G network in primarily Atlanta,
but have also worked the Philly, Chicago, Houston and Miami markets, but I
have had alot of health issues over the past year or so and have been on sick
leave since Dec 2010. I worked with computers for 8 years before that, four
of those years I owned my own Computer Support company in North GA. I have
done everything from building a Publix when I was 16 years old to buy my first
car to President/CEO of two compaines. So, in my recovery I am more consentrated
on the things I love to do, which is in the promotion/flame effect/event management/consulting
and promotion realm.
